About K-SET

The Karnataka State Eligibility Test (K-SET) Center, University of Mysore will hold the Test on 17th July 2011 (Sunday) for determining the eligibility for Lecturership in various Universities / Colleges / Institutions of Higher education in Karnataka State. K-SET will conduct test in 26( twenty six) subjects (listed under item no. 6) at 11 (Eleven) selected Centers (listed under Item no. 7) spread across the Karnataka State.

Important Dates

• Submission of On-line application form starts from 30th March 2011, 11 AM.
• Last date for Applying On-Line is 30th April 2011, 5 PM
• Last date for receiving the printout of online Application Form(two copies), Attendance Slip(one copy) and Admission Card(one copy) at the respective NODAL Officer Opted center by the candidate (with fee receipt & category certificate(s)) is 10th May 2011 at 5.00 PM

The result of the K-SET to be held on 17th July 2011 will be made available on the K-SET website www.kset.uni-mysore.ac.in and shall also be published in the Employment News as and when it is declared. The candidates will not be individually intimated about their result.

Candidates who qualify K-SET will be governed by the rules and regulations for recruitment of lecturers of the concerned Universities / Colleges / Institutions (Government / Aided / Private ) in Karnataka State.
