- Ticket booking charges decreased: Rs. 10 in AC, Rs. 5 in sleeper
- Railways to install anti-collision devices in eight railway zones
- Rail Yatri Sewa - Assistance for senior citizens at major stations

- Press concessions extended to family and dependents upto 20 years
